wedding cards

We received lots of heart warming cards when we got married last year

 I have been keeping all of the lovely cards we were given when we got married in a plastic folder not wanting to throw then out but not sure what to do with them either when I stumbled across this image in pinterest.

I decided that would be a lovely way to display and keep our cards so I set to it. It really was very easy.

All you need is the cards, some ring fastenings, a hole punch and a craft knife

first I cut the cards

I covered the bar codes and writing on the back of the cards with coloured paper

punch holes in the cards

tread the card on the the ring fasteners

 for some reason blogger flipped these two photos on to their side?

That is pretty much all there is to it. We have this little book on a shelf in the living room so we can flick through it when ever we fancy.
